Cross the road from Tan y Coed and you are immediately on the Mawddach Estuary path - at the southern tip of the Snowdonia National Park - 9 miles of glorious (flat) walking or cycling running adjacent to the river Mawddach or just relax in front of the wood-burner and read a book.
You will receive a personal welcome from Victoria and Sean who will be delighted to show you why they love this area so much - their own home is next door - and they are on hand as much or as little as you require.
Surround yourself in the comfort of a contemporary 4 bed holiday cottage. Furnished using earthy colours with open plan oak and slate interiors reflecting the surrounding hills - the house is filled with light and windows to gaze over mountain views - warm and cosy with a double sided wood burner to compliment the under floor heating.
In your comfy Sealy bed with cotton sheets; shower in the luxury bathrooms with walk in showers and luxurious pima cotton towels, then wander upstairs to gaze at the views over the Rhinog mountains.
Imagine a lazy breakfast in the open plan kitchen/dining room complete with Bertazonni range. Yoghurt and fruit with honey produced by the bees just across the road, munch on bacon and sausages reared at the farm a mile along the road; accompanied by bread crafted at the local bakers in Dolgellau; all whilst gazing at the ever changing picture through the window towards the estuary, mountains and Barmouth.
