Luxury self-catering in the heart of Snowdonia

Tan y Coed is unassuming luxury, but it is also homely, it’s modern but still cosy and of the highest quality. Spend the day out in the hills then take off your walking boots and treat yourself to a bottle of bubbles by the fire.

It can accommodate eight guests in four bedrooms so whether you are a large family or a group of friends, you will find your space here. Up to two dogs are welcome to stay too.

The house in detail

4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms + cloakroom

Relax in the light and airy bedrooms and sink into Sealy Posturepedic beds covered in cotton sheets & plump pillows. Two bedrooms are ensuite and there is a further family bathroom and cloakroom. Three of the bedrooms can be changed from Superking to full size twin rooms.

Open plan kitchen and dining area

Well equipped kitchen with a gas range for those who like to cook up a feast and a microwave for those who like a break from cooking. Fridge; freezer; dishwasher. What better place to eat your home cooked meal with full height windows overlooking the mountains and a dining table that can comfortably seat 8.

Living room with wood burner

Snuggle up on down filled sofas in front of the twin-sided wood burner – relax with your choice of music or choose from a selection of books and games. Smart TV and Blu-ray DVD. 4G and BT Wifi available for streaming services and catching up on work emails (if you must)

Full enclosed garden, BBQ and seating

5 burner Outback BBQ with gas bottles supplied and ready to go. Enjoy the outdoors in the sheltered garden with seating for everyone, and a safe fully enclosed garden for children and dogs. There is an outside hose to wash down any dirty dogs, bikes or boots.

Utility / Boot room

With washing machine/tumble dryer and Maytag drying cabinet, plus more fridge and freezer space and plenty of storage for all the boots and coats - and the dog drying. Kids pool table and Fußball for a family table football tournament.
